Linda is a summa cum laude graduate of Barnard College, where she made her first film called "Prospera", a 10 minute short created during her Sophomore year. "Prospera" had the honor of being screened at the New York Film Festival alongside George Lucas' "THX 1138" and Martin Scorsese's "Italian American". Linda later went on to complete her MFA and PhD at Columbia University. Her films has been selected at many prestigious festivals, including Cannes, Sundance, New York, Hamptons, Palm Springs, Monte Carlo, Aspen, Nashville, Banff, and Deauville Film Festivals. For 2 years in a row, she had films developed with the assistance of the Sundance Institute - Chantilly Lace (1993) and Tödliches Klassentreffen (1994) Linda's projects have also received numerous awards, including 2 Peabodys, 7 Emmys, 1 Luminas, 1 Silver Nymph and 2 Christophers.
